The route we have chosen, subject to visas and other bureaucratic things is the southern route via Iran and the Pamir Highway. This is roughly 10,000 miles and includes France, Belgium, Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, and finally Russia again for the finish line in Ulan-Ude. The plan is then for a slightly shorter 6,000 mile return journey across Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Belgium, and France…
